Fashion Designer Extraordinaire AnToni Michelle was born AnToni Michelle Caviness on October 24 in Peru, Indiana. She began her career in the 70’s designing for friends and family. AnToni Michelle’s father Claud Caviness is a retired Airmen who has served more than 30 years as a Deacon in his church.Her mother Mae Johnson is a 6 year survivor of breast cancer. Her mother is the one who taught her the craft of Fashion Design.

It was through her mother’s example of making her and her siblings clothing based on pictures that they would choose that her passion for fashion design was fostered. The moment she knew she had graduated from her mother’s lessons through design, sewing and pattern making happened when her mother stated that she had ‘far exceeded her in dress making.’

​

AnToni Michelle is partial to the influences of fashion the come from films of the 50’s and 60’s as well as her love for costumes. She loves the curve of a woman’s body describing it as sensual and romantic. Through her fashion she is able to make a woman feel like a goddess. The themes that she follows throughout her work are elegance, romance, charm and sensuality for the living goddess.

An AnToni Michelle design is affordable. Not only does she master the art of making the woman feel all woman, but her clothing offers versatility to go easily from day wear to evening wear.

She has had the astute pleasure of having her designs gracing many red carpets at events like Oscars, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Vibe Awards, Hip Hop Harry-Kids Discovery Channel,  Video Music Award’s, United Negro Collage Fund

This accomplished Fashion Designer is the Mother of three and the grandmother of 5.
